Home loss HINTS:

1- If a theft has occurred, first contact the police as the police report will be utilized during the claim then call your insurance company to report the claim.

2- If you need to make temporary repairs to secure your home or protect from weather, keep track of all your expenses.  Make sure not to make any permanent repairs before an adjuster has inspected the damages.

3-Don't do business with someone who simply comes to your door claiming to be an adjuster after the loss has occurred.  There are many fraudulent individuals who are looking to benefit from someone else's loss!
