The person behind the scenes that
helped Aspen Cove Insurance come to fruition is
Trent Ferguson.
Trent
Ferguson, Benefits Manager
Trent worked for Linsco as a Financial Consultant
in which he provided financial and insurance services
to clients. He also worked for World Group Securities
in which he was the marketing director, a Branch
Office Supervisor, and a Senior Associate.
Trent’s licenses include Life, Health, Disabilities,
and Securities #6, 63, and 26. Trent graduated
from BYU with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Economics in 2002.
Craig Allred, CEO
Craig Allred is one of the co-founders of Employer
Solutions Group and Aspen Cove Insurance.
He has over 13 years of business experience. His
experience, coupled with his unique understanding
of the benefits and advantages of co-employment,
makes him a uniquely qualified authority in his
field. He is current president and owner of two
additional successful small businesses.
Craig served as CEO for 5 years at A+ Benefits.
He implemented long-term objectives that resulted
in a sales increase of 47% and a net income of
312%. Craig studied business finance from Brigham
Young University and studied accounting at Utah
Valley State College.
Dee Henderson, Vice President of Human Resources
Dee’s experience prior to coming to Aspen Cove
Insurnace included over 5 years of human resource
experience. Dee spent 2 ½ years in the
United State Marshals Service as their senior
employee relations’ specialist. His responsibilities
included developing performance based compensation
systems, coaching team members to achieve objectives,
management of employee relations budget, create
resolution and grievance process to resolve employee
concerns, investigate and make recommendations
in cases of alleged employee wrongdoing, write
Human Resources vision and objectives, prepare,
write and conduct disciplinary delegation training,
manual and course.
Dee also worked as a Presidential Management Intern
at NASA where he trained office staff in the use
of computer programs, audited and assured compliance
with office software licensing agreements, and
developed NASA’s Human Resource Strategic Plan
& Vision Statement. Dee has earned a Masters
Degree of Public Administration from BYU; he has
also achieved a Bachelor of Arts, History, also
from BYU.
Garth Allred, Vice President of Finance
Garth previously served for 8 years as the chief
financial officer/controller for the group of
Traco companies, involved in manufacturing and
importing from the Pacific Rim. He oversaw the
financial growth of the Traco companies from 1
million in sales in 1990 to 10 million in sales
in 1997. Traco was awarded “Company 392” of the
Inc. 500 award in 1992 as one of the 500 fastest
growing privately held companies in America. Garth
received the Utah 100 award from Governor Leavitt
for Traco as one of Utah’s top 100 privately held
growth companies, during 1996.
Prior to Traco Garth was the controller for
LanFix, Inc., and has spent the last 15 years
consulting with small business community in the
accounting and taxation areas. Garth received
a bachelors and masters degree in Accounting from
the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young
University.
